By using the services of Strafurd Commercial Services (ABN 23 640 630 057), you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please note that Strafurd Commercial Services has common ownership with the commercial debt recovery law firm Strafurd York Legal (ABN 60 640 803 185) . We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time and will inform you of any changes made.

Your Obligations:

  • You must inform us promptly when you receive payment from the debtor.
  • Provide us with relevant debt information, such as invoices and agreements.
  • Obtain the necessary authorization from your company (if applicable) to direct our office and update us on any changes in contact information.

Acceptance of Terms:

  • By providing us with the necessary information to collect the debt and by continuing to instruct us either via email or phone, you are accepting these terms and conditions.

Our Fees:

  • We may retain the services of other professionals, such as lawyers or field agents, to assist us with legal proceedings. We will notify you if this is necessary and you agree to cover the associated fees.
  • Commission may also include credits, value of goods returned to you, or direct payments to you. Commission will also be applicable if you receive direct payment.

Payment:

  • We will transfer any funds we receive on your behalf to your designated account. However, we reserve the right to deduct our fees and expenses before doing so. Additionally, we may also deduct any fees owed to Strafurd York Legal for work performed on this or any other cases you have instructed the firm to handle.
  • All monies recovered may be processed through the Strafurd York Legal Law Practice Trust account for added transparency and accountability.

Termination of Agreement:

  • Either party may terminate this agreement by providing 14 days written notice to the other.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue services if you fail to pay our fees or provide incorrect information. If you provide false or insufficient information regarding the debt, you agree to compensate us for any loss or damage incurred.

Miscellaneous:

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria.
